Flamenco Add-On Setup

This setup assumes the Flamenco Manager is running in the Blender Render Cluster and reachable via Gateway Device at http://flamenco.cluster.home.

Add-On Configuration

Screenshot of Blender on MacOS using /private/nfs/flamenco NFS mount. Follow the instructions from Flamenco to download the Add-On to your workstation and install it under Blender / Preferences / Add-ons.

The Add-On should match the Flamenco version running in the cluster. Set the IP Address of the Gateway Device or http://flamenco.cluster.home/ in the Flamenco Blender Add-On.

Flamenco Addon - Render Output Root

The Add-On appears under the “Output Properties” tab at the bottom, under “Post Processing”.

The NFS path is specified in the Blender Add-On as Render “Render Output Root” is set to the workstation NFS mount path.

See example-project use case for a detailed example.

If you do not fill out the Render Output Root correctly you can submit a Job that the Worker will fail to write to NFS location and cause Flamenco to re-enqueue a failed Job several times before giving up.
